Our morning walk.

This morning we were able to head to a nearby lake to enjoy some time together and some time reading as well. I was amazed, once again, at God's beautiful creation. His creativity captivates me.

It was even more beautiful in person, these pictures just don't do the richly colored trees justice.

I hope that each of you are enjoying the autumn colors wherever you may be. What is your favorite part of this season? The colors? The flavors of lattes and desserts? The crisp air? The textures around you? Take a moment today to breathe in the beauty of it all!

Gorgeous! The lake and all the trees are stunning. I love watching the trees change colors, hearing the crunch of leaves under my feet, and feeling that brisk autumn air. Fall is scarf wearing, pumpkin picking, latte sipping happiness. And best of all: thinking about the holiday season to come! (Of course, I'm already listening to Christmas music.) Glad you guys are getting to enjoy the beautiful scenery of your new home, and thanks for sharing some pics. :)

So, Miss Emily... when are you going to start a blog? You are so talented in articulating your thoughts, that it would be a shame to NOT start one. Plus, I am dying to see pictures of your house. Think about it, not for too long though, and let me know what name you've decided on so I can start following you. :)

I have a couple things...These pictures are beautiful, and I am glad to have a happy picture in mind of where you are. My favorite thing about fall this year is my new Scentsy "Pear Cider" and my cozy new blanket in the bedroom. It is by far my favorite place to be right now...wish I was there as I type this. And lastly, I know the question wasn't for me...but I went to NFM the other day and they are already blasting Christmas music. I was alone, so I allowed myself to lollygag to the tunes. :-) Miss you!!!

It was a strange reality that stores were already getting Christmas aisles up and ready while we were still home. Now that Halloween is over, I'm sure the takeover has begun! Enjoy it all for me. And, that Pear Cider sounds fabulous. I am sad that I wasn't able to make it to your party. :(
